THE NERGE PTA'S NOMINATING COMMITTEE IS SEAKING NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2021-2022 PTA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

* President â€“ Presides over PTA meetings and coordinates work of the PTA.
* 1st Vice President â€“ Hosts Welcome Back Activity, PTA Membership Chair, helps organize Field Day and assists the President as needed.
* 2nd Vice President â€“ Directs Information Day and reviews PTA Bylaws and Standing Rules. Also assists the President as needed.
* 3rd Vice President â€“ Oversees K-3 Grade Level Party Volunteers and the 4-6 Grade Coordinator for class activities. Also assists the President as needed.
* Treasurer â€“ Receives and distributes funds and keeps accurate financial records.
* Recording Secretary â€“ Keeps minutes at monthly meetings and distributes to all board members.
* Corresponding Secretary â€“ Conducts correspondence between PTA, staff and student body. Also coordinates end of year Instructional Assistant, Lunch Supervisor and Bus Driver Recognition.

Nominating Committee Members:
Meagan Stasiek, Sonal Patel, Sara Bartels, Kelly Maieritsch and Becky Glick.
Alternates: Lipi Vyas and Kim Serafini

Our Nominating Committee will look at all of the applicants and make a group decision to fill the 2021-2022 Executive Committee. Our goal will be to fill the positions with enthusiastic people who want to make a commitment to Nerge, its staff and student body. If you are not sure the person you are nominating will want the position, donâ€™t worry we will contact them directly to see if they are interested before we vote.

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for one of these positions please fill out nomination form.

All nominations must be submitted by Friday, February 26, 2021.

IT'S TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT SUMMER CAMPS!

The Schaumburg Township Council of PTA's (STC) is offering Summer scholarships again this year for current D54 students in Kindergartenâ€“7th grade. Please read the STC Scholarship Application information letter for more information.

**Please note the parent/guardian must be a PTA member at the school attended by the child applying for the scholarship. You must be a Nerge PTA member by March 1, 2021.**

Already a PTA member? Thank you for your support! You can apply for a summer scholarship starting now through March 30, 2021.

FEELING BRAVE? WANT TO TAKE THE PLUNGE FOR A GREAT CAUSE?

The 2021 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois runs from Saturday, February 20th through Saturday, March 27th.

This year, they are excited to provide plungers with a special Plunge At Home option.
