The Nerge PTA Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for the 2021-2022 PTA Executive Committee!
We need your help!
We're looking for individuals to be part of the Nerge PTA's Executive Committee for the 2021-2022 school year. We need to fill the following leadership positions:
President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary.
The Nerge Nominating Committee will look at all of the applicants and make a group decision to fill the 2020-2021 Executive Committee. Our goal will be to fill the positions with enthusiastic people who want to make a commitment to Nerge, its staff and student body. If you are not sure the person you are nominating will want the position, don’t worry we will contact them directly to see if they are interested before we vote.
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for one of these positions please fill out the nomination form by Friday, February 26, 2021.

PTA IS NO LONGER A NOUN
– IT'S A VERB!

PTA is an action plan working to support your child's success. It's an invitation to every Nerge family to participate, because we can do more together than we can do apart.
PTA to support your child's potential! There's no wrong way to PTA – just as long as you're doing it for your child.
The cost of the Nerge PTA Membership is $6.00. With your membership, you will help the Nerge PTA raise enough funds to support many programs and activities for our students and staff throughout the year. Among these programs and activities are the Nerge Night Hike, Art Club, Cultural Arts Assemblies, Seeds to Success-Earth Day Celebration, School Plays/Musicals, 6th Grade Celebration Activities, Assignment notebooks (2-6 Gr.) and Folders (K-1 Gr.) for every student, and much more!
The Nerge PTA offers all parents and caregivers the opportunity to be engaged in their child's potential. Being a member of the Nerge PTA means that you are part of a powerful association and action plan that is focused on programs and initiatives that strengthen your child's education and the family-school partnership. Membership in PTA can involve as much or as little time as you have to offer.
However you PTA, it’s all an investment in your child. PTA to support your child’s teachers and curriculum. PTA to advocate on the issues impacting your child and affect change at the local state and national levels. PTA to build a stronger, more diverse and inclusive school community. There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it is time or money, will support your child’s potential.
We have 100% staff membership at Nerge and we would love to have 100% parent membership too!
