Every school has to donate auction baskets and gift cards to raise money for summer camp and college scholarships and we need your help! The Schaumburg Township Council of PTAs hosts an annual dinner auction and these baskets are part of the silent auction. This year, our basket themes are: Summer Fun, Fitness, Bake Off, Family Game Night (and Books) and Arts & Crafts. If you have any unused/ unopened items that match these themes, please send them to school marked Dinner Auction/ Nerge PTA. Other donations can be gift cards to Target, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, etc. for us to purchase baskets and filler items. For more contribution ideas, please click on the two links below.
Please submit any donation by January 24th.
Thank you! We appreciate your contribution.

EATING MEALS AS A FAMILY
By Action For Healthy Kids
Food is much more than fuel for our bodies; it is something that brings people together. Between extracurriculars, work, and the busy schedules of many families, it is often difficult to find a common time to sit down and connect all together as a family. Shared family meals provide opportunities for family members to talk about their day and connect to better understand one another.

for the 2021-2022 school year!
PTA IS NO LONGER A NOUN
– IT'S A VERB!
PTA is an action plan working to support your child's success. It's an invitation to every Nerge family to participate, because we can do more together than we can do apart.
PTA to support your child's potential! There's no wrong way to PTA – just as long as you're doing it for your child.
The cost of the Nerge PTA Membership is $6.00. With your membership, you will help the Nerge PTA raise enough funds to support many programs and activities for our students and staff throughout the year. Among these programs and activities are the Nerge Night Hike, Cultural Arts Assemblies, Seeds to Success-Earth Day Celebration, School Plays/Musicals, 6th Grade Celebration Activities, a book for each student in honor of their birthday and much more!
The Nerge PTA offers all parents and caregivers the opportunity to be engaged in their child's potential. Being a member of the Nerge PTA means that you are part of a powerful association and action plan that is focused on programs and initiatives that strengthen your child's education and the family-school partnership. Membership in PTA can involve as much or as little time as you have to offer.
However you PTA, it’s all an investment in your child. PTA to support your child’s teachers and curriculum. PTA to advocate on the issues impacting your child and affect change at the local state and national levels. PTA to build a stronger, more diverse and inclusive school community. There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it is time or money, will support your child’s potential.
We would love to have 100% parent membership!
